About this Event

The Christian Legal Centre’s Roger Kiska examines if Christians are being persecuted – in the UK. He looks specifically at cases of Christians who have lost their jobs for expressing their Christian beliefs, as well as other forms of discrimination against Christians. He discusses the root causes of persecution and what can be done to rectify this.

We will be hosting this seminar at 8pm on YouTube, followed by a live Q&A session with Roger Kiska and our chief executive, Andrea Williams.

You can also subscribe to our YouTube Channel to be notified of when we go live and release more videos like this.

More about the series

Gospel issues facing us today (GIFT) is Christian Concern’s seminar series launched last year to inform and equip the church on issues that Christians are facing today. Whether we are aware of it or not, society is changing at a rapid rate, and many Christians are finding themselves at odds with the truths of the Bible and what is being accepted and promoted in modern society.

At the first Monday of each month, we will explore hot-button topics such as transgenderism, abortion, education reforms, marriage and Islam. These seminars aim to give Christians clear and compassionate ways of understanding, responding to and challenging the issues that are becoming ever present in schools, workplaces and churches.

Join us as we explore the ideological roots of the challenges around us and put on the mind of Christ as we think through the Biblical responses needed.

Upcoming dates

Monday 4 May – Why is the UK church declining? – Dr Clifford Hill (Author of book: The Reshaping of Britain)

Monday 1 June – Should Christians affirm transgenderism? – Carys Moseley (Policy Researcher, Christian Concern)

Monday 6 July – The benefits of Biblical marriage – Tony Rucinski (Director, Coalition for Marriage)

You can also watch some of last year’s seminars for free!

“Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is — his good, pleasing and perfect will.” Romans 12:2
