After 15 years of selling watches and mobile phone cases at his stall at Chichester market, Steve Loha had his licence revoked with immediate effect after a customer complained that he was offered an “offensive” Christian cartoon tract in May 2017.However, in a judgment delivered on Friday 20th July in Chichester County Court, a judge has found that Mr Loha’s removal was illegal.

Ex-magistrate challenges NHS trust after removal from role due to pro-family comments on TV

A Christian who was dismissed as a magistrate by the Lord Chancellor and Lord Chief Justice, after expressing his view that it was in a child's best interests to be raised by a mother and a father, will tomorrow (Tuesday 17th July) challenge an NHS Trust's decision to block his return as a non-executive director.

Councillor faces ‘stitch-up’ meeting over biblical Facebook posts

11 July 2018

Tonight, a meeting will be held at Ferryhill Town Hall, County Durham, with a motion of no confidence in the local Councillor Richard Smith. Cllr Smith, who has served in the army for eight and a half years, and is a pastor at the Emmanuel Christian Fellowship since 2003, had been elected Mayor of Ferryhill in May this year.
