‘You can’t stop people praying on public property’

Listen to the story of Christian Hacking, who was arrested for peacefully praying outside an abortion clinic.

Christian was carried by four police officers to a riot van and was imprisoned for eight hours after he was alleged to have failed to comply with a Public Spaces Protection Order. The good news is that the charges have been dropped, but the case raises huge questions over whether praying in a public space now constitutes ‘harassment’ and whether buffer zones around abortion clinics breach freedom of expression, religion and thought.

Here, Christian speaks to Premier Christian Radio about his experience.
