What every parent needs to know about RSE

The government’s new guidelines on Relationships and Sex Education and Health Education are set to come into force in September of this year. The new guidelines have been the cause of much controversy, with protests outside schools across the country.

But what do the guidelines actually mean? What will children be taught? What do they mean for parents’ rights to opt their children out of sex education?
