Being a Christian parent at school

Event Details

27 February 2021
17:00 - 19:00

Teaching on relationships and sex has frequently been one of the battlegrounds for Christian parents. However, changes to the curriculum in recent years expose the differences between the Christian worldview and that of our increasingly secular society.

So what exactly are children being taught in school about relationships and sex? What is distinctive about the aims of Christian education? How does the gospel relate to our understanding of children, parenting and education?

Former head teacher Steve Beegoo, Christian Concern’s Head of Education, will be addressing these questions as he speaks on Today’s school curriculum: How to respond as a Christian parent. This event, hosted by Positive Impact, will equip parents to bring up their children in the training and instruction of the Lord.
