Aaron Edwards

Aaron Edwards was sacked from his role as a theology lecturer at a Bible college and threatened with a counter-terrorism referral for a tweet on human sexuality.

What’s at stake?

  • Christians, especially theology lecturers at Christian colleges, must be free to teach and defend biblical principles. If our theology lecturers, those responsible for teaching biblical doctrine to the next generation, are not free to uphold key Christian convictions, the future of a Christian UK is greatly at risk.
  • In a country that upholds the principles of freedom, Christians should not be forced to celebrate sexual ideologies that contradict their beliefs. We must be free to publicly disagree and call out sin, even when that truth offends people.
  • Truth should not be censored simply because it is unpopular. People should not face losing their livelihoods and their careers for simply stating their beliefs in public. Christians must defend their freedom to proclaim truth without fear of losing their jobs.

If sin is no longer sin, we no longer need a Saviour.”
