Same womb carries both mother and child

Two women who received wombs transplanted from their own mothers have given birth to baby boys in Sweden. It is believed to be the first time that a baby has been born from the same womb that had previously carried the baby's mother.

One of the women was born without a womb, whilst the other had her womb removed following treatment for cancer.
