Printer-friendly version

Two Church of England ministers, who defied Biblical teaching and the warnings of Bishops by 'marrying' their male partners, are now standing for election to the Church of England's ruling body.

Canon Jeremy Pemberton is a hospital chaplain in Lincolnshire and Rev Andrew Cain is a vicar in London. Speaking on ITV News, Andrea Williams said: "Andrew Cain is acting in direct defiance of [Biblical teaching]... so to stand for Synod is a highly provocative act."
