Sunday trading plans postponed

Printer-friendly version

The government has postponed plans to relax Sunday trading protections, after fears that the proposals would not get a majority vote. The decision came after the Scottish National Party (SNP) announced its opposition, due to concerns about lowered Scottish wages.

Thank you: your actions have made a difference. If you haven't already, please urge your MP to resist any change during upcoming negotiations, and pray the plans will be defeated.
