Oxford students shut down abortion debate

Printer-friendly version

A debate on whether 'Britain's abortion culture hurts us all' has been cancelled at the last minute following a campaign by students at Oxford University.

The event had been organised by Oxford Students for Life and was to feature prominent commentators Brendan O'Neill and Tim Stanley. However, after a social media campaign, Christ Church withdrew permission to use the college as, reportedly, did two other colleges.
