MEP asks EU to withdraw abortion funding

Printer-friendly version

A member of the European Parliament has asked the European Union to suspend funding of Planned Parenthood. Miroslav Mikolášik made the move in light of several videos that show Planned Parenthood staff discussing the sale of dead babies' body parts. The abortion giant is a major recipient of EU funds.

Mr Mikolášik has also asked the European Commission if it will stop Planned Parenthood from joining a lawsuit against One of Us, an initiative to stop funding for activities that destroy the human embryo.
