Tim Dieppe comments on the Worcester Cathedral asparagus blessing ceremony

Tim Dieppe speaks to BBC Radio Hereford and Worcester about a Worcester Cathedral blessing for asparagus.

Tim Dieppe says: "I think it's right and proper for the local cathedral to celebrate the blessing of the asparagus harvest and to pray and thank God for it... I think the point here is the way in which it's been done, in part of an act of Christian worship having people dress up as pantomime characters in that."
