Why a government ban on talking therapies is unacceptable

3 July 2018

Mike Davidson, director of Core Issues Trust, explains that for the government to simply ban the therapy, as though there is only one ideological perspective, is “unacceptable in this day and age.” A ban could end up criminalising simple conversations for those seeking help to turn away from unwanted sexual attractions, seriously inhibiting free speech and freedom of religion.
